But when you choose Atlantic Energy as your natural gas supplier, we’ll help you find ways to cut your gas demand, maximize your efficiency, and see your monthly natural gas bill drop further than ever before.

Whether you’re looking to us as a gas supplier for your home or your business, we’ll help you identify areas where you can reduce your demand, increase sustainability, and help the planet go green while keeping as much green as possible in your wallet.

The Power of Choice

In certain states across the country, energy deregulation allows consumers (both residential and commercial) to purchase their energy supply from whoever they choose and not just their local utility company. This power of choice means you can find and select the energy supplier that aligns most with your values and priorities and does the most for you as a customer.

At Atlantic Energy, we find that a majority of our customers left their existing gas supplier because of unnecessarily high monthly bills from their existing utility. When they entrusted us to be their energy supplier and energy advisor, they quickly saw how we’d help them reduce energy costs and find opportunities for efficiency.

Even better, customers that choose Atlantic Energy as their supplier of natural gas are able to take advantage of our Smart Home Bundle and Smart Business Bundle, wherein customers are able to bring their energy systems in the future via smart technologies like smart lights, smart plugs, and smart cameras. These Wi-Fi enabled technologies bring the power of the Internet of Things (IoT) directly to our customers, meaning they can embrace the sustainability and energy saving aspects of these exciting technologies. Best of all, Atlantic Energy provides these smart home products to our customers, just for signing up.

Explore Rate Options

Being customer-focused is our #1 priority, and we appreciate how certain customers choose to allow ongoing market fluctuations in the price of natural gas to determine the rate they pay, while others instead prefer to protect against potential market volatility by locking in one set fixed rate in advance. When you enroll with Atlantic Energy for natural gas supply, we emphasize customer choice and allow you to choose the type of rate plan that makes the most sense for you:

Fixed Rate

Customers who opt for a fixed rate play one flat rate per therm of gas each month over the course of a preset time period, such as six months or one year. Fixed-rate options allow you to predictably budget for your energy costs for the coming time period, making this the recommended option for customers who prioritize careful budgeting.

Variable Rate

When you choose a variable rate arrangement, you are forgoing long-term contracts and instead will pay a rate that reflects the current price of gas, subject to natural market fluctuations. Variable rates are comparable to the local utility arrangement for pricing gas.

Fixed To Index

Fixed to Index offers an option in between fixed rate and variable rate, as you lock in a set price for gas but only one month at a time. As natural gas gets traded on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), you’ll be charged a fixed price that reflects the settlement price for gas for the ensuing month (which is locked in about three days before the end of the previous month).

Additional Savings

If you’re an Atlantic Energy customer residing in New York (where we’re headquartered), you won’t be changed the state sales tax on the utility portion of your gas bill because Atlantic Energy is not obligated to collect Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) and Gross Receipts Tax (GRT) fees. Just another reason to make the switch to Atlantic Energy today!
